I’ve helped lots of children with things like their English homework and even their travel English, so that they can play with other children on holiday. Also, it doesn’t matter how many children you have, you will only pay the price for 1 lesson each time (because I charge for how many hours I work, not for how many students there are in the lesson). Lessons are always fun and the children always look forward to the next one, as do I :)

Our English lessons can be however you like and in any style, it’s completely up to you. They can be serious, fun, formal, informal, role-plays, etc. They can be prepared in advance or decided at the start of each lesson. Sometimes, students have a specific goal (preparing for job interviews in English, improving their English CV, practising English presentations, etc.) and sometimes we simply have general conversations about travel, work, daily life, etc. where the focus is on English vocabulary and correcting errors. As always, the subject is completely up to you.

My teaching style depends on my student. If my student is a beginner I will speak relatively slowly and use simpler English that’s easier to understand. If my student is a professional with a higher level of English I will speak more quickly and use more business English. If the lesson is grammar based, the lesson will generally feel like we’re in an English classroom. If the lesson is to learn travel English, the lesson will have more of a holiday feel. So, as you can see, it all depends on the student and their objectives.

You can have any lessons you need. When appropriate, I use my own teaching materials and lessons that I have created during my time as an English teacher. If I don’t already have the materials I need, I produce them before each lesson. I find a lot of materials online and from my text books which I adapt to fit each English student’s needs. Also, if we would like additional materials during lessons, 99% of what we need is available on the internet at the touch of a button.

A standard lesson is 55 minutes but you can have longer lessons if you prefer, as you can book as many lessons as you like in a row.

Yes, I give both types of lesson. I have many private students who prefer to study with me on their own so that we can concentrate on their specific needs. I also have students who prefer studying in groups, which is a great way to have cheap English lessons. Basically, it doesn’t matter how big the group is, the price I charge is the same because I charge for how many hours I work, not for how many students there are in the lesson. For example, have your lesson with a friend and only pay 50% each. Have a lesson with 4 other friends and only pay 20% each. Cheap English lessons!

We normally use Skype, but if that’s a problem, we can also use Google Hangouts. Thanks to this technology, with just a computer, tablet or smartphone and an internet connection you can have lessons with me from anywhere in the world.

This is completely up to you. Some students have the time to do English homework, some don’t. Sometimes I suggest that a student does some English homework if there are any particular problems with their English but it is the student’s choice if they do it or not. If a student would like homework, I will always give them something appropriate to their level, their needs and / or their objectives.

Also, I am a native English speaker with a lot of experience teaching English as a second language. Additionally, I have many years’ business experience in London, I have travelled extensively and I have lived in different countries. All of this has given me a wealth of knowledge and experience to be able to teach on a variety of subjects.
